Alan's Positions
WORLD PEACE, U.S.
DIPLOMACY AND INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS
I will support
legislation protecting US interests throughout the world.
Every human life is
precious. The global community should not tolerate governments that
commit genocide or sponsor terrorism. Moreover, the global
community must engage in kindness and generosity towards those
nations that are in need i.e., where ever disasters occur or famine
exists, the global community must step in and help these nations.
Moreover, as a
global community, we must take strong steps to end wars on this
planet. Global stability and peace is a prerequisite for global
progress including economic growth and preservation and enhancement of our way of
life. If we expect to have a more peaceful world, we need to
·
Formulate a consistent global vision
·
Engage in earnest consensus-building and humble dialogue with our
allies
·
Work
to enable the United Nations to be an effective and legitimate voice
for global equity and world peace
·
Seek
out dialogue and a negotiated peace whenever possible
·
Use military action
as a last resort and, if possible, never be
unilateral. Rather, we should undertaken military action when globally-endorsed
and with legitimate global engagement when all else fails.
Lastly, as a global
community, we must take significant and decisive diplomatic steps to
disable the illegal drug trafficking infrastructure throughout the
world.
