Alan's Positions
FINANCIAL MARKETS
Our public financial markets are a critical component to the
economic well-being of our nation. Therefore, I am in favor of
the periodic assessment of our financial markets to assure that they
are fairly promoting business and economic growth while protecting
the general public from unfair reporting and trade practices.
I will strongly support legislation strengthening the civil and
criminal penalties for company leaders, market analysts and auditing
firms who purposely mislead the public.
